Deportation of illegal immigrants increases under Obama administration

Grumpy, the fact that I used today's politically correct term, "illegal immigrants," and not what USED to be the politically correct one, "illegal aliens," is just semantics. They do fit the dictionary definition of "immigrant," but if you chose to call them "aliens," that's your right. And no, I haven't been conned into believing what I believe, namely, that if Arizona wants to take over where the feds have failed, the best way for them to do that would be contribute more toward securing the border. Or maybe they're doing that, and I'm not aware of it? If so, someone please enlighten me.

Pontooner,you are being totally unrealistic if you believe for one minute that Obama and the Dems as well as the Republicans are not catering to Illegals with the hope of capturing all those hispanic votes.If Obama is so set against Illegals and wants to deport them,then why did he publicly chastize Arizona and have the Feds file suit and block Arizona's Illegal Alien Laws?
The best thing that could happen to this country is if every congressman in office,regardless of party lines got voted out,and a 3rd party candidate were elected president just once to send a message to these money wasting,too high on their horse,dictators who ignore the cries of the majority.
I don't care if it's a Tea Party,Independant,or whomever as long as they are qualified.This country has gotten too far away from what was orinally intended in the constitution,Lobbyist's and kickbacks rule the day,and the majority of Americans are tired of working hard to have wasteful spenders beating us out of tax dollars in every way they can beat it out of you.
I think this country was founded because of people who were tired of the very thing we now face today,makes me sick!

Sure both sides play the game but the fact is Obama has deported more illegals than the last admin and look what it has turned into here. He's going to make them legal citizens so they can vote for him, they just deported the ones that were criminals........... and pointed out that Bush actually tried some of those tricks during a election year.

That's why I put the politics aside comment in there because no matter what side your on it is a good thing more illegals were deported. Haters keep a hatin I guess.

Again though how does deporting more illegals help Obama with the legal latino voters (a large part of his voting base according to these boards)?

The Arizona Illegal Alien Law is a whole different subject from my viewpoint because of the constitutionality of it and that's why it was addressed the way it was.


Should more be done? Absoutley and I think the Arizona Illegal Alien Law will get the federal goverment moving on the issue.

I think you knew that pontooner...an article Like this that has yet to be huge in the media will prolly get backpaged in the papers to keep it kinda quiet. The fact that the lib admin is taking AZ to court has been running for how long?
Obamy promised help was a joke according to the AZ Governor. Unless that's changed he just gave the lip service to the media and then did little to nothing for AZ.
I hope he does a stellar job in deporting and stopping this crises. If he does great!

It has been pretty big new the last few days everywhere I have seen with the AZ immigration law set to go into effect Thur. Maybe Faux didn't give it any love but I don't know for sure.

Tell me this, if they changed the law to if both of your parents are not citizens of this country and you are born here, you are not a citizen, dont you think that would stop alot of immigration, and save us alot of money! This is the dumbest law I have ever heard, its ridiciulous. I was born in Germany, but I am not a german citizen. Change that one law, and see what happens!!!

I found some stuff about it last night and was going to post that I did but a storm knocked my electric out for a little but and I didn't get back on to post. But any way it's politics and we'll never know which one of the two is playing the game the hardest.

Your wrong about me being in love with any politician, has never happened and will never happen. I try not to let the biased stuff get in the way of my thinking of stuff that is good for the country whether it's from the left, right.......

Dang I said this on here a month ago. I know none of this is proven or can be but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what's coming. Any administration that helps the illegals with amnesty is gonna get a HUGE number of votes but they will immediatly lose a large amount of present American votes. So what the plan will be is to put old silver tounged devil out there on the stump and talk his way into a few of those votes. Latino senators and congress members will support him and there will be a huge spin on how they just increased the tax base or helped USA's security. They will talk about the money being spent on securing the borders and will toss a few billion at it.

Heck, he will be on the "spew" oops I mean the "view" and get all kinds of love from those women and whoever follows those Bon Bon eating loudmouthed over the hill windbags.

For the record I know every potus has let us down on this topic and so it's a problem that both sides have scars from but this goober and his administration is wicked and so power hungry(gubment control) that they will do anything to stay in power....anything.
Problem is, America as a whole has a short memory and this admin knows this is a gamble that they have to take.

If no one hired them, they wouldn't come. Its thats simple! So if you start jailing the employers, who are also breaking the law, the problem will soon cease to be a problem.But no one can understand that.
