July 4, 2008 Boone Lake in northeast Tennessee, the
lake has came up several feet over the past couple days causing the
water temperature to drop to 72 degrees. The bass have moved up into
the shallows docks, rocks, edges, points, anywhere the bait fish are.
Fishing top water early morning, popar, spinner baits. Crank baits (
bandit 300 series mid morning. Noon fishing is off. After 7pm back on
the crank baits, pig and jigs, and plastics. Then after dark back to
the top water. Night fishing is starting to turn on finally! Catch and
release.
