Updated 8-15-08 The pool is getting in great shape river fishing is picking up. Buzz biats early near rock piles are doing well on the upper side of the pool on the river. The river fishing should become a strong patern in the mid sections with spinnerbaits and crankbaits thrown near current breaks and bait fish pods in the slack water. There should be some schooling fish that can be caught throwing into the blow ups with shad mimicing lures. Look for these fish in the creeks on flats.
