Water temps in the low 70's water is clearing on the upper end of the lake.
Bass are on the beds, but fishing is improving. Rain Saturday they bit really good. This moring several caught on buzz baits.
Lot of site fishing on the lake right now.
Catfish good on chicken livers and chicken parts. Some on minnows while fishing for crappie
Shellcracker and Bluegill good on Popeye Jigs, Worms, and Wax worms. Bull bluegill being caught in coves from bank. Big fish are hitting really well this week with a report of another 1.6 pound shellcracker.. (Approximate Weight)
Good limits of crappie on minnows. Crappie have moved out to around 4 feet. Jigs not working well. Look for Crappie around downed trees etc.
